Staff Spotlight; New Faces, New Vision for Healthcare Services
This month we want to spotlight two new faces that are at the core of our healthcare team! Carrie Daniel joined us in August as our Director of Nursing for skilled rehabilitation and long-term care bringing with her years of experience as the Assistant Director of Nursing at a sister community. Jake Ernst, an experienced Registered Nurse who has been an active support to us as a nurse in the nursing home will be transitioning into Restorative Nursing where he will continue to support our residents in maintaining their mobility! Hello! I’m Carrie Daniel, the new Director of Nursing at The Gardens of Cedar Rapids. I am excited to be a part of this amazing community and looking forward to learning and growing alongside the wonderful staff and residents! I’ve been working in healthcare for the past 13 years in which all have been focused on the geriatric population. In my free time, you can find me anywhere outdoors with my husband and 2 children! We enjoy playing in the backyard, tending to our garden, or cruising in the boat on the lake! I look forward to meeting you all!
