Moving Vaccinations Forward.
We are so excited about our vaccination success. Through our first two clinics we were able to get 100% of our nursing home residents, 97% of our AL/MC tenants, and 66% of staff vaccinated. We have a final clinic to catch -up some folks that got late first doses, this clinic will be on March 4th. We have 4 Residents/tenants who will need vaccinated due to getting the anti-body therapy treatment and we are working with both Linn County Public Health and Right Dose Pharmacy to help us navigate this situation. We were also able to include 40 Co-Op members/staff from Independent Living at Prairie Gardens Cooperative in our last vaccination clinic. We are so happy to be able to include them in events on our campus. Additionally, 15 family members were vaccinated through the Community Pharmacy Program. We were able to register them through a long-term care partnership and are very excited for their second dose on March 6th.
Through all this vaccination success we are very hopeful for some regulatory changes related to visitation and quarantine. At this time no guidance has changed as a result of vaccination. As soon as we get word from DIA or IDPH about changes we will pass them on and update our policies.
Warmest Regards,
Jenna Gardner, Executive Director
