The Gardens of Cedar Rapids is now hiring! We are looking for a dependable, hardworking RN/LPN to join our team! This position is fantastic for someone who is continuing their education and only looking for a every other weekend commitment!

The position is 4– 8 hour shifts (10p-6a) in our long-term care unit. Monday through Thursday– NO WEEKENDS!

Competitive starting wage for LPN’s is $31.00 and RN’s is $41.00, plus shift differential pay. Wages are based on experience. We will work with you to create a consistent schedule that meets the needs of both the applicant and the facility!

This position is responsible for transcribing physician’s orders, administering medications and treatments as prescribed and providing professional nursing services. Nurses observe and communicate resident changes to physicians and are responsible for resident personal care needs and outlined in service plans.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current registration with state board of examiners. Advanced preparation or experience in geriatrics is preferred. Must have willingness to learn and provide compassionate care for the frail elderly and persons with dementia.

Facility Info:

The Gardens of Cedar Rapids is a locally owned and managed senior community that just opened in August 2017. Our campus includes a 30 apartment assisted living, 12 unit assisted living memory care and a 40-bed skilled nursing facility. We pride ourselves on the reputation we have built as the preferred provider and only full continuum of care on the south-west side of Cedar Rapids.

Pay: $31.50 – $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
